JCC Insight · Practical guide

One-page or multi-page website?

The structure should follow your offer and your customer's questions, not a preference for more or fewer pages.

When one page makes sense

One commercial page can explain a focused offer, show completed work, set out essential terms and provide clear contact. It works as a structure when visitors can follow a continuous path and there are few independent topics.

For example, a business with one main service might explain its audience, show a project and finish with an enquiry. This is an illustrative structure, not a conversion guarantee.

  • One main offer that is easy to explain
  • Content suited to a clear continuous path
  • One main action and limited navigation needs

When separate pages add value

Services with different audiences, areas of work or regularly published content may need separate pages. Each destination should answer a genuine need rather than repeat the same copy to increase the site size.

More pages do not guarantee better Google positions. Structure, useful content and technical quality still need attention.

  • Services with distinct questions and content
  • Projects that need their own explanation
  • Languages or features with different user paths

Compare scope, not just plan names

A question to help decide

Can you explain the offer without requiring visitors to choose among several paths? If not, map their information needs first. The initial assessment helps choose a structure; it does not require commissioning the most complex plan.
